Members of the Tiger's Men's squad took part in a session at the Human Performance Centre at the University of Bedfordshire on Sunday as part of the club's commitment to progression towards professionalism.
The group consisting on new recruits and existing players alike we put through a series of initial tests to give the club's coaching staff an indication of where the squad's ability is.
The club have taken the feedback on board from our failed bid to acheive a League 1 membership and have committed to invest strategically in new areas for performance at 1st team level.
Working in conjunction with the University of Bedfordshire, we are now able to provide a far higher standard of Performance Environment as well as elevated medical provision and injury management.
"We have simply got to raise our level of professionalism. If we want to be competitive and have aspirations for the professional leagues we have to look at what we currently deliver and improve it. Thats across the board and at every level of the club". Rob Ashton Director of rugby
The club are actively looking for high standard players ahead of the 2025 season and will be holding ad hoc sessions in December and January for those players to come and get involved ahead of preseason.
